About Culantro & Basil Pho Bistro
Located at 5636 E La Palma Ave Ste E, Anaheim, CA 92807, Culantro & Basil Pho Bistro operates as a vietnamese serving Anaheim in California. Besides its main category, the business also describes itself as asian fusion restaurant, noodle shop, so it may cover more than the name suggests.
Portion sizes and pricing swing widely across this group, from a $10 lunch bowl to a multi-course tasting menu at an upscale sushi counter, so checking recent reviews and photos is more useful than the price range alone. In Anaheim, dinner reservations for popular izakaya, hot pot and Korean BBQ spots fill up on Friday and Saturday nights, so booking ahead or arriving at opening is worth it. Many restaurants across California run daily lunch specials on weekdays that are not listed on the dinner menu, so it is worth asking. Halal, vegetarian and gluten-free options vary a lot by kitchen; call ahead if you have a dietary restriction rather than assuming the menu will note it.
The business lists hours on 6 days of the week. Typical hours are 10:30 amβ8 pm. It is closed on Monday. As with most places, expect changes around holidays; the phone number below is the fastest way to confirm. The listed phone number is (714) 660-9088. Many businesses also reply to text messages on the same number if it is a cell phone.

Anaheim is in California, on the West Coast, where the climate ranges from foggy coast to hot inland valleys, wildfire season can affect air quality in late summer, and traffic is the main thing to plan around. Getting around Anaheim is easiest by car; street parking is metered in busy downtown areas, and most suburban businesses have their own lot. Ride-share apps such as Uber and Lyft operate across California's larger cities, and public transit varies from extensive to minimal.

Hands down the best Vietnamese food in Anaheim! But what truly makes this place special is the owner, Chad. He is one of the warmest, most humble, and genuinely kind people you'll ever meet. Every time I visit, he welcomes me like family and goes out of his way to make every customer feel appreciated. I'm absolutely obsessed with their beef spring rolls, fresh, flavorful, and perfect every single time. The menu has so many delicious Vietnamese dishes, and everything I've tried has been consistently excellent. Amazing food, exceptional service, and an owner who truly cares about his customers. This will always be my go to spot for Vietnamese food. I can't recommend it enough!

Easily one of the best spots to eat in the Anaheim Hills/Yorba Linda neighborhood. We're so glad to not have to drive to Westminster anymore for pho. I'm also addicted to their spring rolls and could eat these daily. They are fresh and packed with shrimp and veggies (not just a bunch of vermicelli noodles like some places. they also put fried egg roll wrapper inside that makes it crispy!). And who knew matcha at a pho restaurant would be so good? I've had matcha all over OC and have to say their drinks are really solid. I recently tried the peach matcha and that became my perfect matcha- refreshing, balanced, not too sweet.

I walked in the restaurant and I got the great vibe immediately with atmosphere of the restaurant. Very clean, beautiful, color and the environment is very well thought out. I felt. I always like lemon grass rice plate and they had that too. and the plate they use is also well thought (picture) and the presentation is beautiful too. Also the taste. meet / rice / the sauce / veritable (pickled?) / lettuce leaf / all combined together makes perfect balance. tastes so healthy and I feel like I can eat another plate. Also coffee and tea options are great too. I think they said they make coffee at the restaurant and I tried and it was great too. (vietnamese coffee) Also the station on each table I find it as considerate and well thought too. They have small plates for a sauce also the choose of reusable chopsticks and disposable chopsticks besides utensils option too. Really relaxing welcoming clean environment with tasty and visually beautiful food also almost cafe combined together experience.

Above average pho and the spring rolls were hot, crispy, and yummy. Nice presentation. Kind waitresses who were all very sweet. Will be coming back to try more items. Thank you. The cleaning agent being used to clean the tables or floors or something smells musty, consider trying a different product.
